Precision Bench Dogs

Our Precision bench dogs for Festool MFT/3, Walko or other 20mm hole grid tables. Precision dogs are machined to 0.001" tolerance or less to insure great and non slop fit in your table and that there will be no issues when using them to setup for 90 or 45 degrees angle cuts on your 96mm grid manufactured table.

Both sizes of Precision Bench Dogs have a superior formed M8 thread (about 60% stronger compared to regular cut thread) and one can secure these dogs with a standard Festool knobs that comes with Clamping elements. For ease we have machined an oversized chamfer that simplifies use of knobs. 

Our dogs have an Easy Grip feature- Head(top) part of a Standard dog has our innovative and unique Spiral design for ease of removal (no slipping) from your workbench. Short version has an offset single grove with the same idea in mind.

Every our bench dog has an undercut diameter (a groove under its head). This eliminates radii, and guarantees that you dogs will sit completely flat on the surface without the need for chamfering holes in your workbench

Finish is a durable Type II Non-fading Black anodizing on these dogs done per Mil-A-8625 (military) classification.

Benefits of anodized aluminum over raw (polished) one:

• Improved surface hardness and abrasion resistance
• Improved resistance to stain (easier to clean, remove dried glue, etc.)
• Non-fading clear will guarantee that part will stay black which will make them easier to spot among your tools when needed.
• Corrosion resistance matching that of stainless steel in the outside environment.

Standard Precision bench dogs provide enough clearance to work with 0.5 inch (10mm) material or thicker. Short Precision bench dogs provide enough clearance to work with 0.25 inch, 8 mm or thicker material (though for thick material we recommend using Standard dogs). Shaft length is just shy of 18mm.

Please note, they will not fit if you have an older style MFT or the size of your holes is smaller than 20 mm.
